Alright, it was a long time coming for me but at last i have webspace and Ive decided to move over to there and set up wordpress there… At the moment, I’m still in the development of it with a custom theme on project with a close friend of mine. I expect in a few weeks, Ill be up and running back to a good blogging pace but at the moment… *code, tests, code, crash, recode, tests… *

This Blog has reached 1000 now… this is absolutely brilliant… Since we reached a monumental milestone, i thought i should go review a new huge release, the 1000% Sparkling Box Collection, for the Negima!? anime… There is ten whole CDs attached in it and me being me just had to get all of it XD These were all released on January 24th 2007. And also, its the first turn of the month since i started out, sort of, so i decided to get about to changing the top banner… Aw, its so cute XD

Its Ku Fei, Maki and Ayaka on the first CD… Containing the OP and ED with their vocals only which isn’t that much to talk about. The third track is the important one on this CD being the orchestral mix. This one is really quite different, playing more on the minor to move away from the super happy feeling… It has very dramatical powerful music and a slower beat and is pulled off quite well. I love the instrumental version as i was thinking Action Movie background music the whole way through until the vocals cut back in. All in all a good CD for those who can appreciate orchestral pieces…

It’s Yue, Haruna and Nodoka XD Again with their version of the OP and ED. Their Mix was a nice Disco piece, that was all quite smoothe and very relaxing. A good listen indeed.

It’s Keade, Fuuka and Fumika… with their version of the OP and ED with their Mix being of the Latin flair… Lovely rhythm and sensual beat that pulled me in… One of my favourites on the whole.

Alright, Yuuna, Ako, Akira and Misora this time. Another OP and ED and their Mix is of the Techno orientation…. kind of weird at the beginning but was getting into a good beat a bit of the way through… and i loved the intrumental for this Mix, very good listen…

Alright, the cheerleading group; Misa, Madoka and Sakurako… Their mix was kinda weird… Although I do listen to Reggae and Ska once in a while, I thought this Mix wasn’t that good, sounding more like sampling with Reggae influences…

Lovely collection of VAs here; Chachmaru, Evangaline and Satomi. Their mix was a big band mix, which i would better class as Jazz… Its rhythm is infective and i love the brass fill ins. One of my absolute favourites of the whole box set…

Mana, Chizuru, Chisame, Natsume and Zazie…. their mix being a beutiful Piano Mix, nice low textured song that brung out the best in the vocals. All the harmonies and intonation were a lot more noticable in this version and it all shone through. The Piano scoring for the usual 1000 % Sparking was done absolutely great, a very good mix by all accounts.

Alright, the last one and also the only one to break the 1000 % repeats that have been torturing my soul and enslaving my chibi for the whole while i was listening to them… VAs in this one are Negi, Asuna, Konoka and Nodoka who are some of my favourites… Yume Minna de! was a good and short beginning piece that got a huge welcome from me when i realised it wasnt like the OP or ED at all… Ohayou! the main song of the CD was a very good piece, catchy and singable, it makes its way onto my usual listens list. Love Sensation was a super upped happy song really and i enjoyed it alot, reminds me somewhat of the Tsuyokiss Game OP which i enjoyed but this one had a fabulous short guitar solo in it XD Magical Happiness was great as well, heavy with Nodoka as the main vocals having a slower pace and being just a really good song to end 2 and a half hours of music on… I loved this album so so much…

And there, its done… 2.5 hours, 10 CDs and a huge massive post and you know what I only just noticed…Setsuna wasn’t in any of these CDs D: But i guess to somewhat make up for it, the little extra we get with this huge Box Set is Setsuna’s Armour Card… Enjoy XD

I fell in love with Rolling star when i first heard it as the new OP for Bleach and the full version was quite good as well. The other two tracks were alright as well, however I thought they were not as good as Yui’s other works and really, I enjoyed her Life Single a lot better, but this is quite a good sngle nonetheless

It seems i may work best blogging about Anime related music… I do seems to get a lot of it and i blog well with it.. Well out of my music run this time around these titles most jumped out at me by name alone…

Alright, for all the rest its usually the original tracks i enjoyed more but this time it was exactly the opposite. I didn’t really enjoy all Imouto Wasurecha Oshiokiyo that much but the Hare Hare Yukai version included with this single was quite different from the rest… I know the last two had little changes such as lyrics and add ins but this one but this one, the style was changed critically as a more happy, well childish version which seemed to fit the theme of the single well actually…

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi Character CD Vol.7 – Kimidori Emiri

Again with this single, i enjoyed the Hare Hare Yukai in this a lot more than the original track but i liked this single overall a lot better than vol 6. is a nice slow song and the Hare Hare Yukai version in this matches it and is actually quite good… its very distinct because of its tempo being significantly more different than all the other versions…

Overall the two new singles were okay, not spectacular but nice to listen to. The tracks have been cut again to only 4 a single now but that may be understandable. Vol 8-9 come out next month: Itsuki and Kyon… i wonder how this will turn out XD Its fairly safe to assume th next two will be the last of the character CDs… until the next season of Haruhi comes out at least =P

Bleach 110 – The Vizard Have Come!!

I’ve been away from the Bleach anime for way too long, ever since about epiosde 75 i believe and I’m quite happy that the fillers have ended and the vizard are here… Episode 110 rocked.

Firstly, this is the first time I’ve seen this OP and it absolutely excellent, another great song by YUI and the acompannying animation is just stunning. I especially love the little fight between Ichigo and Shirosaki (his hollow side). The episode started off very strongly starting with grand fisher getting his power boost and omnimously saying ‘Kurosaki Ichigo…’ It was cool and creepy and totally got me excited for what was to come. We cut to the school where everything seems back to normal apart from some minor incidents, one of which shows us Tatsuki being spiritually aware which should come back up sometime later me thinks. Hirako is introduced in this… I kinda hate the voice he uses in class, more so than Rukia’s sweet voice actually but man, does he sound so cool when he is appears later and reveals himself as a vizard. Well, the end has us wondering what’s happening with Kon and Grand Fisher but what really surprises most at the end is the introduction of Ishida’s father who is every bit as badass as his so.

The episode was quite up to the hype of it’s ‘no more filler’ celebration, although I am somewhat confused at how the filler mod souls are still around… Anyways, whatever the case, can’t wait for 111 XD

Okay, I’ve only just realised recently that we’ve hit 500… I havent posted in the last week because i have exams at the moment, which will continue onto next week as well, but seeing as we’ve hit 500, i might as well do some reviews today then.. possibly Bleach 110, Busou Renkin 14 or Kanon 15… not sure which at the moment XD

Well, GIR got me to start this show… I was quite intrigued about it after i heard his podcast… So i got to downloading and set apart some time and watched the available 13 episodes at once… and man, was i ever so pleased i picked this up… The story moved very well and the characters are lovable.. I nearly cried at episode 10 as well… all in all, it was a very good show and I’m hoping to see more of this as i would like to see more about Mai as it looks like it is concentrating on such at the moment… well the next episode has already came out so I’m going to check it out sometime tonight XD
